Low walls that hold a raised bed, level a small slope or frame a patio. Built in timber, block or stone, with fire pits and seating walls to match.
Our walls are garden walls: the kind that hold a raised bed, terrace a gentle slope or square off a side yard. Taller walls that hold back a real hillside need engineering, and those aren’t walls we build.
Every wall starts with 811 and a level, compacted footing. Drainage behind the wall matters as much as the wall itself, because water pressure is what pushes walls over. If the slope sends a lot of water down, we may pair the wall with a drain.
One of our recent jobs was a retaining wall in Mobile, built in three days.
Big or small, these happen every time.
